Found it there, not sure if you can view that without logging in. Misamili's explains better i guess. Anyways that wasn't really my point, what I find more important is this: To keep your pleasure of discovery unhindered, you cannot have more than one gift per day. All in all, all your visitors are properly saved. So, please be patient... ;-) |
| 2009-01-27 16:09 | Orchid | There is a Fairy Sprite Tree on there that gives a gift a day. Each day the number of visitors needed increases. The first day it is 10 visitors, the second day it is 20 visitors, then 50 visitors, then 100 visitors, then 150 visitors, etc to get your special gift. But the visits that don't count towards that count as zoo visitors from my understanding, which brings in their version on money so that you can expand your zoo, add more animals, build more enclosures, etc.
It also says to share your link with as many friends as possible. I consider everyone on here my friend :-) |

| 2009-01-27 18:42 | Orchid | Thank you Utopia. I'm going on day 5 here, so I will let you know how the limit is working and what the next few stages are. I know I'm up to 150 visits just for the prize portion and as I find out more, I"ll post it here.
I just added it as as soon as I did, it said I had 177 visits, so it didn't show up when I ran the exchange. Is that 177 from visits from other people or from here, because I don't think it could of had that many visitors as soon as I put it up. Just want to clarify. I also noticed that my visitor numbers did not change from before I added the link on here. Thanks Orchid |

| 2009-03-01 15:09 | Poohgirl | I've been reading the mondozoo forums and it looks like only the first mondozoo link you click after reset earns a mile for the prize cruise. After that, no other clicks you make to other zoos count, not even towards visitors from what I can tell.
I've been receiving over 200 clicks a day on my mondozoo link. Maybe about 10% has been counting towards my prize cruise. The rest certainly don't count for zoo visits as I only received 168 visitors the day before and 98 visitors yesterday. Basically each unique IP can only click one 1 mondozoo link a day to earn it a mile. All other clicks by that IP do not count for anything. I wonder if there is a way to get this to work better? |

I created 2% chance for each Mondozoo link to be visited in each visit session. The percentage might be increased in the future, but for now I need to see how well the distribution works. |
| 2009-05-16 13:19 | Orchid | Uto, with this change, in 24 hours I cannot even get the 200 visits on Mondo Zoo. Before this change when I listed a zoo, out of the 200 visits appx 1/4 to 1/2 of them counted as unique visits, but now I can't even get enough. It would take about 1-2 hours to get 200 visits. Before the change, I could help other people out with extra visits so they could see what Utopia exchange was like, but now I can't do anyone extra because I can't even get 200 visits in 24 hours with the zoos I have listed and the change is not helping the overall visits count with visits coming from unique Ip's. Because many people have multiple IP's, each of those are usually unique, but since 95% of visits are not counting, the links for Mondo Zoo are not being able to take advantage of those. |

| 2009-05-18 05:54 | Orchid | 7 hours after server midnight, I show on Utopia having 94 visits to my zoo, only 19 have counted, so it is the same average as before the restriction was implemented. It is just taking 20 hours to get the 200 visits whereas before it was only taking 1 to 2 hours. Those with Multiple Ip's are actually an advantage because each of their IP's are unique and therefore count. |
