| 2008-11-28 03:38 | tantraville | i saw on http://utopia.lv that there is a chat aswell =) just had an idea (read suggestion) to put the chat on the exchange page aswell, because I think most people (if not all) only use the clickexchange, so they probably dont even know about the chat ^^ and if it doesnt catch on you could just delete it or something to have some free webspace ;) eitherway, ur still doing a great job in my eyes utopia, keep it up and thx for all! |

But I think this chat was made for 1 on 1 support when needed. Not sure about this, but I think the current chat is fine. ^^ |

I use utopia.lv domain for other projects also and it is not planned to integrate that chat into exchange. |
| 2008-11-29 14:44 | David | I personally prefer to not have the exchange on the page. I think the page the way it is keeps a theme to it. I sometimes use chat as a resource if I have a question, but most of the time I like to have it hidden, so I prefer the way it is.
However, I could see where a new person may not know there is a chat room function offered. I love the little orange triangle but I could see people not noticing it, or discovering what it does a while down the road. Perhaps the word "Chat" could appear beside it, so new people know what it is there for, although most people that use the web end up finding their way and clicking on things to see what they do. But I like it hidden with that little orange triangle, since that chat page is not formatted to match the new exchange page. Really, I am looking at this page as I am typing and I really think it is so STYLISH! I really love everything about it! --Sprout (Heather) |
