| Can't add links | |
| 2009-12-13 00:08 | Hi, I've been trying to add my links but I keep getting a blank link page. It didn't use to have any problems with adding the links but I haven't been able to do this for quite a few days now. I visit over 2000 links every other day and it's sad that I don't get any visits on my links because they just don't get added.
Please help. Thanks. |
| 2009-12-13 05:14 | des43t | I have no idea what could be happening. My only suggestion would be to clear your cache/cookies and try again.
Perhaps give us your step-by-step actions so we know what you did that led up to the error. |
| 2009-12-13 23:15 | I've added my links the same way I had added them all the previous times...I just click on "links" and add my links to the link-bar and they always used to show up on the page after I add but lately, that same method I've always used to add link doesn't work at all. And what's more, it shows this on the link page:
"There are 2179 active links. In total you have visited 0 links today." That definitely can't be right because everytime I'm on here, I use supermode to visit all the links so it should not tell me I didn't visit any links. Any ideas or help will be very much appreciated...my Dragonadopters dragons are getting very lonely ;( |

Cause when you are not logged in you get the message to visit at least 100 links b4 adding yours and then it's impossible to add some b4 running supermode. When you are logged in to or with your profile you should be able to add the links b4 running SM, but only then. BTW: Sometimes it happens to me too that some links appear on my profile i never ever added ... dunno why or how this happens, so i would suggest to check your saved links on your profile b4 running SM. |

1) Make sure you are logged in 2) Add your links. If this does not work, go to Help page and give me your IP address (you can PM it to me if you do not want to show it publicly). 3) Save your profile. This will make sure your links are added automatically when your IP address changes. 4) Visit the links. If you're not using Supermode, make sure pop-ups are allowed. Still it is safer and faster to use Firefox with Supermode. 5) After all links are visited see if your links are added and are not expired on your links page. |

This means that same IP addresses are shared between several exchange users. And another user who previously had the same IP address added its link. You can either choose to remove their link and add yours or you can change IP address to new one. Note that links can be deleted 20 hours after they were added. |
