| More Skips than links visited | |
| 2010-01-21 09:46 | calenlass | I think the method of visiting links have changed lately...or it maybe, donators get the Supermode x32 but I've been experiencing more skipped links when I press the "Start" button. It used to take a little more time to visit all the links but I'd get just a handful of links skipped before compared to now, eg, previously it there are 2000links, it's would take about an hour to go through them all and I'd maybe have 100 links skipped. Now there'd be 2000links and it would take about 30mins to go through them all but there's about 1500 links skipped and I'd have to repeat the process again and again and STILL get so many links skipped. It wouldn't matter so much if I have only 1 link on here but I have 5 and I only get 1 link viewed so it's very bothersome.
I hope someone would be able to help me to resolve this. Thanks. |

Have any of your circumstances changed? For example, are you using a different computer, or in a different location or even a different internet service provider? The links have been talking longer than normal recently, how long has this been happening to you? Also what time are you visitng the exchange? We find that if you visit it at server reset the links will take longer than say at 3am. Im afraid it could also be due to the fact of your internet connection and location, as you are quite a way from France. Im afraid I dont think I can be much help, but I gave it my best. Dan |

Please try reducing Supermode speed in Options. If you need it reduced permanently to a specific speed, please send a PM to me. If you need any further help, please provide answers to questions Dan asked. |

I got frustrated with trying to start the view-link so I played around with the supermode speed and got it down to x4, so now it's a little slower but at least nearly all the links get visited :) I used to use both comps at work and home to visit the links but utopia gets very wonky on my home comp so I only use my work comp for the visits now. Thanks for the suggestion and offer of help. |
