| I noticed everyone's amount of links visited dropping suddenly...? | |
| 2011-08-21 07:22 | BlitzAce | At first I only noticed it happening to me and a few other people in the "Single IP top' section (specifically the users who's links are regularly at the top of that list since I check it regularly). Then after I spent about 15-30 min typing up a post trying to explain what had happened, I checked the ranking page again and this time I noticed pretty much everyone's visits had dropped. By about approximately 200. Now everyone's visits are in the 1400's with some in the 1500's when the majority of users had 1600 to roughly 1700ish visits a moment ago. I know mine was in the 1600's (for the first time :D) and then it dropped to the 1400's.
Did anyone else notice it and is something weird going on here? When I was typing up the post before which I scrapped, I thought that it had only happened to me and possibly some other users so I was a little sad with feelings of being cheated (lol). I get that it might not matter much now since I think its affecting everyone but I thought I'd just mention it anyways :) |

Visit count for Single IP top is calculated for the last 7 days (last 7 dates). Different game servers are located in different time zones and the date for some games changes in advance of others. On each date change visit count (points) reduces and gives a chance to make new visits if there are links to visit. Here's example on how servers on different time zones look like: Utopia exchange: August 23 - 7:30 MyMiniCity: August 23 - 6:30 DNAdopts: August 22 - 22:30 -- 3 hours later -- Utopia exchange: August 23 - 10:30 MyMiniCity: August 23 - 9:30 DNAdopts: August 23 - 01:30 Let me know if you need additional info.
