Unaccounted visits | |
2012-11-02 02:32 | Oracle | I have a question regarding visits. I normally like to keep my ind, sec, tra and env no more than a thousand and push for pop most of the time, although I find it annoying my tra is always excessively high. I know that many times this winds my ind numbers to -. Last Wednesday, I had -400 ind. Today the ind is 1825 and all of my other infra have risen except env (understandably) and com. My question is, If I have selected pop for all my click visits at other sites and I know I can't change how Utopia visits, how on earth can I get over 2000 ind in one day without choosing it?
The reason for my comment is that my progress to move up a rank has changed from 103 days to 125 days and climbing. I know, not the end of the world and perhaps a trivial matter but I thought I would put it out there for any constructive comments. Cheers! |

Have you thought about someone possibly trying what is known as an industry attack? I cant remember what happens exactly but something along the line of pollution killing a little of the population. If someone wants you to loose population all they need to do is keep visiting your city with /ind and it could happen. EDIT: if you ind was negative there is a small possibility that utopia has been sending ind visits to get it up, but im not sure how it works. Dan |

Thanks for your reply. I just worked it out. It is some other person logging me at other sites with ind or com. Gees I didn't think we had such competitive people on my minicity. |
2013-06-09 08:08 | bodisson | Hello,
I want to come back to strange infra visits specially "tra" like Oracle said Even if "Ind" , "Env" & "Sec" are about normal (+ 1 000) , I find it odd that "Tra" are about + 10 000 (10 x > others). I registered for long time (+- 3 years) about 10 "miniville" and it's alway the same. Of course it's not quite clear for big cities but for those who uses almost utopia and less than 4 M unhabitant we can see it. exept my cities, I also did the test on numbers of other cities randomly and we can also see the difference of "tra" I do not know exactly how the needs are affected but if it's not too dificult to implement on utopia , why not a little lower percentage of transport in formulas ?.... Thanks and good week |
