I dont realy quite get what you are trying to ask tho, might want to try to send a PM to utopia.lv with you're question or hope he checks the forum occassionaly ;) |

But... in order to have the 3D effect working, the site works with Blaxxun Contact (this is what appears to show a black window when you are trying to visit using Firefox... even Outlook has it showing for a while, untill Blaxxun's loaded fully). The effect of a click, however, is that the 'owner' of the 3D city gets money, plus an inhabitant (loading Blaxxun is not needed for the click to be counted). With the money he/she can buy things for his/her city to develop further ;-) As far as i know, the server resets at midnight (French-time), but like suggested... ask G43l for more exact info, through the MMC forum (or write an e-mail... addy at the bottom of this page: http://www.my3d-city.com/index.php |

The links give "faulty answers from remote server", but the visits are counted still? (and i checked: since i noticed 5 faulty answers, i opened the "gestion ville" page for Anrhemia (i needed to login for that), and refreshed after running Utopia's when i had entered my link... there is indeed a visit counted on my own My3D city, Arnhemia (www.my3d-city.com/clic.php?ville=arnhemia)) :-| Might it be that the links do need a few more seconds to be truely checked, in order not to get the faulty answers? I had noticed these faulty answers were returned in the blink of an eye (within a second already). EDIT: i just noticed that not all the visits are counted for (mine might have been a chance hit)... 85 times visited according to the counter, but only 2 visits were being made (after i had run my trial, the counter said 1 visit made, and indeed 1 visit was counted on My3D... but not this second run) :-S |

All 150 visits (according to the counter here) are now counted for on My3D as well (maybe there's a small delay on the return for the My3D server?... but i'm no expert on things like that, so this is just a guess of mine)... even though the visiting does still return with the "faulty answer" on each added city. |

Are you using Firefox 2 ? I do not test each game with Firefox 2 Supermode and sometimes some weird errors can happen. Utopia |

My3D cities do have an xml listing as well (http://www.my3d-city.com/xml/arnhemia for my own city). Maybe you could have this program check on these outcomes if a visit is indeed really made, or not (like you had on MMC cities before you changed the site into this present form... every 10 links you checked mmc's xml, visited, and checked the xml again)? |

However it's a small problem that FF2 does not let my own visits be counted for the stats list(s). It's just a small problem, but slightly becoming bigger by the day. For... should it not be logical the counted visits on my MMC link should be the same as the number for My3D, on the same day, that is? "arnhemia.myminicity.com 2008-12-09 . . . . . . 1949 visits 2008-12-10 . . . . . . 1610 visits www.my3d-city.com/clic... 2008-12-09 . . . . . . 269 visits 2008-12-10 . . . . . . 1587 visits" I know... on the 9th i added my My3D late in the afternoon (or was it already early evening?), so I'm not referring to that day... but today i would find it logical both links should have gotten the same number of visits, and i think it's due to the "faulty answers" because of those members who use FF2 like me (but i could be wrong on assuming this). When it skipped, it actually visited cities just did not count them here. Please next time submit such cases to forum bug section. |
