the idea might be possible yes, but from what I remember the box is set by default to hidden, perhaps it needs to be open with the option to hide it. Also from what I remember when the first idea of the chatbox was created it was for our members to get to talk and know each other, it also became an easier way for those who know the site and how it works to offer help more easily than sending messages or feedback, it provided more of a direct way to communicate. I would wait for utopias comment on this, but I think if people need help they look to the chatbox anyway. A good idea, thanks Dan |

Exactly :). Chatbox is open by default for new users. If new users look for help, they probably will click on "Help" icon and then info on where to look for help is displayed. Also the text above chatbox would be annoying for regular visitors. Utopia |
