utopia.lv	Welcome to the new website of Utopia click exchange! What I thought will take couple of days took more than a month of my free time. The website is not completely finished and still misses some functions (for example Private Messages), but they will come soon. I wish to thank all donators who Beta tested website, reported bugs and gave their feedback. Especially I want to thank hellowien for giving his opinion and ideas on various aspects of the website and for amazing automation testing. Feel free to post your feedback in the Forum and give your ideas. If you come across a bug please post as much information as possible in the Forum Bugs section. The new things I wanted to note here are following: * New design * Better speed * Better reliability * Possibility to add other game links in the future * Faster page loading speeds, less traffic to download * Optimized communication between Supermode, webpage and server * New way how cities are added and renewed. See FAQ Links * Most functions completely rewritten from scratch to achieve better website speed and reliability * Storage system migrated from flat file database to MySQL for better speed, reliability and smaller database size * Changed JavaScript library from Prototype to jQuery for better interaction and visual effects * Bad word filter added and links matching the filter can not be added * Removed Supermode support for Firefox 2 because it is hard for me to maintain two version of code up to date Warm regards, Utopia

utopia.lv	Supermode for Firefox 2 is back. The reason why I decided to put my time into it is because some users were unhappy and I know that Firefox 3 doesn't work on older Windows versions. For Firefox 3 - Windows 2000 is required, for Firefox 2 - Windows 98. Regards, Utopia

David	This is the most stylish and most efficient link exchange on the web. Congratulations and thanks to Utopia for spending so much time, doing so much work and being so creative as to produce what we Utopians all agree is indeed the most effective link exchange on the web. It looks great, it runs smoothly, it has a large following, and even the chatroom seems more productive and helpful than the chatrooms I have seen on other pages. I think the new page is wonderfully designed, it holds much promise for even more new things to be developed for it, and I think it was a very astute decision to switch from a flat file list, to an SQL database. If you have benefited from this exchange (as we all have) than by all means, please consider making a donation for not only his hard work, and this quality exchange, but for making it possible for all of us to watch our cities grow faster and more efficiently than those that are either unaware of it, or simply have never tried it. An additional thank you for Utopia who helped us personally with an issue that neither my uncle (who started our city) nor I, myself understood. He didn't have to but he took time to give us feedback and try to help us. I tell everyone to use Utopia. I recommend it to anyone I see that is struggling with their stats, or with a new city. I have seen a lot of friends join, and have encouraged people from other exchanges to, not particularly change from their exchange, but to definitely try this exchange in addition to their own. They all love it, so I am certain that we (my uncle and I) are not alone in saying "thank you". But also, "great job Utopia! Arnhemia	Even though i agree with you, Sprout and David (Utopia's is even getting better and better still), i do have one major issue i want to announce... Please don't go and drag EVERY person over to this place, for it makes it impossible for the single IP members to become 1st (or even get into the top 50 at that) ever!! Why? Well, in theory the single ip members are getting the same number of visits per day (only growing if the amount of members/multiple IPs is growing). Only the multiple IP members will be able to rise on the ladder to the top, and one can assume that with the newcomers there are also a certain percentage who will be able to use multiple IPs.... thus it becomes really impossible for single IP members (like myself) to rise :-( It's way more positive if at least a large amount of 'players' will never learn of Utopia's, and how great it is ;-) (Let all the other exchange sites keep on running with their own members, and let us not grow too big. hahaha) Sincerely, Croidin (Arnhemia - MMC & My3D).

utopia.lv	I can not agree with that and please don't be selfish. :) You are still receiving much more clicks for your two links than you give away. For Multi-IP users it is the opposite. With member base growing everyone will receive more clicks. Even links that are at the bottom of the visit queue receive more than 1600 clicks a day. So please spread the word about this amazing Utopia exchange!

Arnhemia	Excuse me? I'm being selfish? True, i do have 2 links, and only 1 IP, but... i was ONLY talking about MMC (as was Sprout, i assumed)! And in order to be able to become 1st of my country, ON MMC, it's not wise to have every person with a MMC city visit everyone through here... For example, if 10,000 persons visit 10,000 cities through here, then number 1 will still be number 1 after everyone has visited eachother, number 2 will still be number 2, etc! If, however, only 5,000 of them visited through here, and the other 5,000 through different exchange sites... then there's still the competition for becoming 1st possible!! ;-) Remember... per IP, only 1 visit per day is possible for MMC... so, in my example, if all 10,000 members visited through here, plus other exchanges... there would be no difference as still the outcome would be the same... everyone would get 10,000 visits (and i know... i'm assuming, for the ease of it, that only MMC 'members' are visiting, and not friends/etc who do not have a link for a MMC city!)... so, the more everyone is spread out over several exchange sites, the better the competition would be for EVERYONE (not only me!). As for the multiple IP members here... not every one of them does it, but i have seen a couple of members who use the other IPs to only visit about 100, or slightly more, of the 1600+ links, and thus gain extra visits for their own link(s) plus a couple more members who already are high on the scoringlists :-\| (It's not for nothing that i suggested at least 2 times to have your own link(s) be visited last of ALL! ;-) lol) But, about my 2nd link... there are more members who now have more as 1 link added, but who only visit through 1 IP... but i was NOT talking about my My3D city right now (even though the same competition situation goes for that one as well (more or less anyway, for with My3D it's possible to attack others, using rocket assaults, or donate money to smaller members so they might be able to buy more then they would have been able to buy without the donation) ;-) All in all though... i know that, with my singular and static IP, i will NEVER EVER become 1st of The Netherlands, let alone 1st of the world (unless all the others, with multiple IPs, will grow bored of the game(s) before i do... hahahahaha)... so again... me being selfish? I think not! :-)
